Who would have thought Chinatown would have such a great bakery with apple pie?

The apples tasted fresh, with a subtle hint of sweetness. The filling had a great consistency and flavor. The crust could have been better, it needed a little more thickness.

The Fern Forest Cafe does not mess around when it comes to their apple pies.

This off the beaten path cafe has one of the best apple pie I've had in years. The pie came out at the perfect warm temperature. Not too hot but not too cold. The crust had an amazing flavor while the filling was top notch. Not a big fan of raisins, but overall, worth a visit.
